A fantastic railway carriage perfect for family and grandparents with ample of space and many activities and places nearby to explore. Two lovely pubs with very friendly staff within walking distance.

The railway carriage had a lovely private garden that was fully fenced. The way seats were placed in the garden meant that it was possible to sit out in good weather. Ideal for anyone with children or a dog and railway enthusiasts will absolutely adore it.

We had a great week in the Railway Carriage. The owners were very friendly and the extra special Easter welcome of chocolate bunnies and a cream tea was a lovely surprise. We would definitely recommend it.

A suitably eclectic base to enjoy the immediate surroundings. Walking, boat trips ,local train journeys, pubs, good food..what more could you ask?!

A perfect relaxing holiday. Sitting on the "station" platform overlooking the garden and fields beyond with horses grazing was wonderful. A wonderful experience for any train buff.
